I have been working on ethics in human-machine interaction since the 6th semester of my bachelor's degree. I took two courses and wrote my bachelor's thesis on ethics-compliant design of sports motivation and nutrition apps. During this process, I realized the importance of ethics in design and pursued the topic further in my master's thesis. In my thesis, I explored the influence and ethical impact of technology design on human behavior.

So, why is integrating ethics into the design process important?

Design can be used to influence users and alter their decisions. Therefore, designers have a great responsibility to design thoughtfully and to consider the intended audience. Whether the design is intended to benefit the user, society, or the environment, it is essential to design with awareness and responsibility.
